Biography: Sasuke was born in Sapporo, Japan, and spent the majority of his earlier years growing up there. He was raised mostly by his mother, Mikoto, and he inherited a great deal many of her traits, while his brother, Itachi, seemed to take after their father, Fugaku. Infused with a more empathetic outlook on life than he was generally willing to admit or even show, Sasuke carried an understanding for those like himself, and those different. Having an understanding of them, however, did not promise from him a kind reaction.

Growing up, Sasuke isolated himself from many people, especially those who were different, eccentric, and unique. The boisterous sorts, as few in his family were loud and rumpus, only seemed to intrigue his ire. He was always closer to his family than outsiders, and closest to his mother most of all.

Sadly, at a young age his mother and father were murdered. The rest of the clan seemed to drift apart after the incident, and Sasuke and Itachi never fully recovered.

The youngest Uchiha still strived for perfection in school, always wanting to catch up to his brother, but always in the back of his mind he thought of days that used to be. It fueled him to be greater, to exceed his limitations and set the bar higher each day. And after some time he had been accepted into a great private school known as Sado Island.

The events that took place there changed him greatly. He learned secrets concerning his family he almost wished he'd never known, and he met many people who contributed both to his mental destruction, as well as his mental rehabilitation. Towards the end of his first term there, however, after all the revelations, Sasuke left the school on a trip to New York and, ultimately, left New York for home. Time spent there amongst old ghosts resurrected his old facade and hardened his nature. He wished not to return to Sado and see those his life had been composed of, and instead disappeared and fled to Tokyo.

What he didn't know... was that several others from the life he was trying to leave behind him were flocking to the great Japanese capital as well.

Although a firm believer in the just and honest, Sasuke does not find himself above breaking the rules once in awhile, often at times claiming in arrogance that he feels he can do no wrong. Though, the truth of this matter is that he in fact feels quite inferior to most people, especially his older brother, Itachi. His actions in degrading others to better his own appearance are done to mask his own insecurities. Something of an over-achiever, Sasuke prides himself on his good grades in school; however, to cure the bookworm persona he would otherwise be subjected to, to save something of a reputation for himself, Sasuke often finds himself landing deeply rooted in trouble due to his quick temper and violent outbursts. He protests traveling the path that his brother did, claims to live his own life, but the reality of his situation is that Sasuke desires to be just like his big brother... and will do whatever it takes to get there.
